Adventurers, it’s time to return to Arzium! In Now or Never, you and up to three others compete to see who is the best at rebuilding your ancestral village and guiding the other villagers on their journey home. You must face fearsome creatures to protect the villagers who have set out on the journey, and upgrade your equipment and skills to meet the challenges you encounter along the way. Following Above and Below and Near and Far, Now or Never is the third game in the series of adventures set in Arzium.

This competitive strategy game has two game modes: standard and narrative. You will always choose one of the four available heroes and put yourself in their shoes, and in the case of playing the narrative mode you will discover their unique story through various campaign scenarios.

Designed and illustrated by Ryan Laukat, Now or Never can be enjoyed alone or in groups of up to 4 players, ages 13 and up, in games lasting about 45 minutes per player. The goal of the game is to score as many victory points as possible over 6 rounds or seasons, rebuilding the ancestral home of the Monument and providing shelter to lost villagers.

In each round, players will use the help of their specialists to perform certain actions or move around the map represented on the central board to explore, visit places or face fearsome monsters. Little by little, they will build areas of the city, through a tile-laying mechanic, obtain resources and improve their equipment and skills to face even greater challenges.

In addition, Now or Never includes an alternative scenario, the underground world, available on the back of the central board, with new enemies and exploration areas. And for solitaire lovers, the game includes specific cards and rules to control a bot that will challenge the most daring adventurers.

Whether you´ve played the other titles in the series or this is your first time in Arzium, Now or Never offers plenty of adventure and fun in one box. With its various game modes and huge number of components, it´s hard for two games to be the same.
