At five in the afternoon.

At five o´clock in the afternoon."

(Federico García Lorca)

Drawing inspiration from the haunting words of Lorca, this graphic novel plunges you into a pivotal moment in time. The story begins in the summer of 1921, a period of immense turmoil for Spain. In the aftermath of the Annual Disaster, where Moroccan Riffians killed more than 10.000 Spanish soldiers, the monarchy of Alfonso XII and the ruling classes found themselves under the intense scrutiny of popular discontent. It is against this turbulent backdrop that a new life begins.
