Dirac Dist La Ciudad Y Las Estrellas comic

In a remote future, the city of Diaspar welcomes the last remnants of humanity on Earth.

Driven back to their home planet by the mysterious Invaders who conquered the universe, humans abandoned their Galactic Empire.

Since then, and for millions of years, Diaspar has kept its inhabitants immersed in the pleasant stupor of a perfect society.

Thanks to its powerful circuits of eternity, the city forever preserves all its elements, including its citizens, who emerge fully adult from the Hall of Creation, live full lives that last for centuries, and finally return to the Memory Banks to await their resurrection after thousands of years.

But very rarely, a unique citizen is born in Diaspar, whose information is not previously recorded in the city´s memory.

No one knows why they appear, or what their function is in the sophisticated mechanism of Diaspar.

Alvin is one of these unique individuals, and as such has no previous lives to refer to.

That is why he finds it easy to question the seemingly perfect social organization of Diaspar, and especially the psychological limitation that makes its inhabitants unable to leave it.

Despite the comforts that surround him, Alvin is dissatisfied.

But he soon finds his goal:

to abandon Diaspar, find out if the outside is as hostile as they say, and discover if they really are the last humans on Earth.
