Maquis is the true story of Cisquet, a young man from Olot, from when he began to be an adult, during the retreat of the defenders of the Second Republic, until he was shot dead in the Camp de la Bota in Barcelona, seven years later.

A vital journey that includes his time in various French internment camps and his subsequent integration into the Spanish Maquis, who fought alongside the French against the German occupiers, a militancy that led him to the front line in the liberation of the French city of Foix.

A journey that culminates with his return to Spain to try to organize, unsuccessfully, bases for the guerrilla warfare against the Franco dictatorship.

An album written by the prestigious screenwriter Pepe Gálvez with which the cartoonist Adrián Bago, supported by the brush for the watercolors, successfully delves into historical comics.

The volume is completed with an article by Raül Valls i Lucea and graphic documents of the time.
