Claudius, Emperor of Rome, is coming to the end of his life and has decided to record his family’s hundred-year history, from 50 BC to 50 AD. The Sibyl has prophesied that this story will remain for posterity. In 1.900 years, Clau-Clau-Claudius will speak clearly. More than three decades after its making, I, CLAUDIUS remains one of the undisputed monuments of world television. This edition recovers the British version in 12 episodes – which united the first two into a single one – and restores all the deleted scenes to offer the most complete version currently available.

Experience the story of the Julio-Claudian dynasty as never before. This remarkable edition has been meticulously prepared to provide the ultimate viewing experience for both new audiences and long-time admirers. A key feature of this release is the presentation of the revered 12-episode British version, which masterfully condenses the opening narrative for a more impactful and seamless introduction to the intricate family dynamics and political machinations.

The primary benefit of this collection lies in its unprecedented completeness. By painstakingly restoring previously deleted scenes, this version ensures that you are witnessing the most authentic and detailed narrative possible. These reinstated moments enrich the plot, deepen character development, and provide crucial context that has been absent from other releases. Watch the full, unbridled ambition of Augustus, the cunning of Livia, and the tragic reign of Caligula unfold with unparalleled clarity.

Enjoy this epic on these essential DVD´s with the choice of the masterful Spanish dubbing or the original, critically acclaimed English audio, allowing you to tailor your viewing experience.
