Mala Persona (Bad Person) DVD | A Hilarious Spanish Comedy

Attributes: DVD´s, Spanish

Prepare for a comedy that turns conventional wisdom on its head with *Mala Persona*, the latest laugh-out-loud film from director Fernando Garcia-Ruiz. This must-have DVD brings home a uniquely heartwarming and hysterically funny story that asks a profound question: Can you become a bad person for a good reason?

The story centers on our beloved Pepe, a man so kind and cherished that he is, without exception, considered the angel of his neighborhood. He is the ideal friend, the perfect neighbor, that one human being you would gladly welcome into your home and your life. But his world is shattered one day when he receives the most terrible news imaginable, the one diagnosis no one ever wants to hear: he only has a few months left to live. Faced with his own mortality, Pepe´s primary concern isn´t for himself, but for the profound suffering his family will endure.

Following the “phenomenal” advice of his best friend, Pepe concocts a desperate and outlandish plan. He decides to intentionally go over to the dark side of human behavior, transforming from a local saint into an insufferable public menace. His goal? To systematically alienate his loved ones and make them despise him, all to spare them the pain of his inevitable departure. Witness the uproarious and poignant journey as Pepe attempts to tarnish his flawless reputation, a task that proves comically difficult for a man who is inherently good to the core. This high-concept comedy brilliantly explores themes of love, friendship, and sacrifice through a cascade of disastrously funny situations.

Led by the comedic genius of an incredible cast, including Arturo Valls, Malena Alterio, Julián Villagrán, and José Corbacho, *Mala Persona* delivers outstanding performances that perfectly balance slapstick humor with genuine emotional depth. It’s a showcase of top-tier Spanish talent, making it an essential addition for any collector of Spanish cinema and comedy films.
