The story plunges you into a reality just beneath the surface of our own, following a drifter who uncovers a terrifying conspiracy:

John Nada is a vagrant who finds work on a construction site in Los Angeles.

One of his colleagues, Frank Armitage, finds him accommodation in a shanty town.

There he notices strange behavior in a small church.

Behind a fake church activity hides a laboratory that emits clandestine television signals.

That night, the police raid the town, set fire to the shacks and destroy the church.

All John finds there the next morning is a hidden box full of sunglasses.

When he puts on a pair of glasses, he sees a subliminal reality full of control messages aimed at turning people into mindless cattle.

And what´s worse, he also discovers that many people among us are not actually human.
