Ediciones La Cupula NimioFantasia Final Book

“The Nimio fanzine has been and is anything but trivial.

Although the terrible tradition of fanzines dictates that their life is short and ephemeral, Nimio´s brilliance has been great and well justified:

its pages have housed the evolution of five authors who have shown that the fanzine does not marry anyone, that it can and should explore all options and that even from the tradition of the genre, modernity can be claimed in abundance.

They have swept away wherever they have gone with good reason and their signatures have begun to expand beyond the pages of the fanzine, finding personal paths that allow us to affirm, with certainty, that Nimio is a group of authors who will star in the coming years of our comics.

And all this, as far as I know, is no small feat.” Anabel Colazo, Pau Ferrando, María Ponce, Núria Tamarit and Luis Yang form Nimio, a (almost) monthly fanzine born in Valencia and winner of the Best Fanzine award at the Barcelona Comic Fair in 2016, which for years has shone with its own light in the self-publishing scene.

Now, in need of new means to express their concerns and continue evolving, and welcomed by Ediciones La Cúpula, the people of Nimio want to turn the page and they do so in a big way with this last special issue of almost 200 pages in which they say goodbye to their readers and for which they have the collaboration of many authors (and friends):

Álvaro Ortiz, Lorenzo Montatore, Antonio Hitos, Roberta Vázquez.
