Ediciones La Cupula Rosa (2º Edición) comic

Paris.

It´s the happy 20s.

A good time for El Jardín, a cabaret with a family atmosphere that opens every night to the fantasy of music and seduction.

In that gynaeceum run by his mother, Rosa has grown up, a young man of just 19 years old who has lived a happy childhood there among feather boas and red velvet, and an adolescence of dim light and strong desires like the desire to dance.

Because now Rosa wants to dance.

She needs to express herself.

To be on stage.

It´s the happy 20s and Rosa is about to step on the boards.

And maybe she doesn´t know that she is about to become the biggest sensation of the Parisian night.

A moving and warm reading that flies over key themes such as individual and collective identity, family, friendship, love, and the difference that makes us unique.

Gaëlle Geniller is a screenwriter, illustrator, and colorist.

She was born in 1996 in Saint-Priest and lives in Paris.

With a degree in animation drawing, she worked in a studio for a few months until the opportunity arose to work on her first comic, Les fleurs de grand frères, which was released in 2019 by the prestigious Éditions Delcourt, a youth album with great critical and public success.

Rosa is her second work, in which she once again addresses the theme of difference.
