The stage for this epic conflict was set in the 21st century. With the ambitious goal of installing technology capable of making life on Mars possible, scientists implemented a program that involved sending cockroaches and mold to the Martian surface. The innovative plan was for the mold to absorb sunlight and for the cockroaches to serve as its food source, slowly terraforming the planet over centuries.

The year is now 2577. The first manned ship, the BUGS 1, finally arrives on Mars, but its crew is met with an unimaginable and horrifying surprise. They are viciously attacked by a new dominant species: giant, humanoid mutants evolved from the very cockroaches sent centuries ago. These Terraformars are incredibly strong, fast, and intelligent. To fight them and reclaim the planet, Earth sends its best and most uniquely modified warriors to exterminate the mutant bugs and uncover the dark secrets of what is truly happening on the red planet.

The publication respects the original Japanese format, providing an authentic manga experience for both dedicated collectors and new readers. Immerse yourself in the desperate struggle of the Annex I crew as they face overwhelming odds in a hostile world where every decision could be their last.
