The story of Terra Formars begins with a grand vision for humanity´s expansion. With the aim of installing technology capable of making life possible on Mars, 21st-century scientists implement an ambitious program that involves sending cockroaches and a special type of mold to the Martian surface. The plan was simple in theory: the mold would absorb sunlight to purify the atmosphere, and the cockroaches would serve as a food source for the mold, spreading it across the planet. For centuries, the project was left to unfold, a silent terraforming process occurring light-years away.

However, the future holds a terrifying and unforeseen outcome. In the year 2577, the first manned ship, the BUGS 1, finally arrives on Mars, ready to survey the newly terraformed world. What the crew discovers is not a nascent paradise but a living nightmare. They are met with the unpleasant and fatal surprise of being viciously attacked by hyper-evolved, impossibly strong mutants—a grotesque and powerful mixture of humans and cockroaches. The mission is a catastrophic failure, and humanity learns a brutal lesson about evolution in a harsh new environment.

To fight them, Earth has no choice but to retaliate. The planet´s best and brightest warriors, enhanced with incredible genetic modifications, are sent on a perilous mission to exterminate the mutant bugs and reclaim the red planet. Their objective is twofold: to destroy the threat and to find out what is truly happening on this world they sought to conquer.
