The AK4191EQ + AK4499EX DAC combination completely separates the digital and analog stages to reduce distortion, while the four-way THX AAA-78+ amplification maintains an ultra-linear signal even at high volume.

In HiFi Boost mode, the balanced output reaches 1 W at 32 Ω, and a second USB-C port powers the player as if it were a desktop, freeing up the internal 5.500 mAh battery.

Reference AKM and THX architecture.

The dual DAC scheme uses AKM´s new DWA Routing technology to improve the signal-to-noise ratio and micro-dynamics, while THX ´s feed-forward topology reduces distortion to -118 dB.

The result is a black background and a neutral timbre that emphasizes the texture of DSD256 or MQA 8× recordings.
