Fortinet 8P GE RJ45 switch

Fortinet FortiSwitch FS-108F | 8-Port GE Layer 2 Secure Access Switch

Elevate your network infrastructure with the Fortinet FortiSwitch FS-108F, a high-performance 8-port Gigabit Ethernet switch designed for secure and streamlined connectivity. As a key component of the Fortinet Security Fabric, this switch is engineered to meet the demands of modern small to mid-sized businesses, distributed enterprises, and branch offices (SD-Branch). It offers a secure, simple, and scalable solution that seamlessly integrates with FortiGate Next-Generation Firewalls, providing a single-pane-of-glass management experience that simplifies network operations and enhances security posture.

The FortiSwitch FS-108F is more than just a standard network switch; it is a secure access layer that extends the protection of the Security Fabric to the very edge of your network. This integration enables centralized control over both security and network access, allowing for the automatic application of security policies to all connected devices. Its fanless, compact desktop design ensures silent operation, making it an ideal choice for deployment in open-plan offices, retail environments, or any space where noise is a concern. Experience simplified deployment with zero-touch provisioning, reducing the complexity and time required to establish or expand your network infrastructure.

Key Benefits:

* Integrated Security Fabric: Connects directly with a FortiGate firewall via the FortiLink protocol, enabling the switch to be managed directly from the familiar FortiGate interface. This integration provides unified visibility and control, extending security policies down to the switch ports.
* Simplified Management: Eliminates the need for a separate management console. All switch configurations, security policies, and monitoring are handled centrally through the FortiGate, drastically reducing administrative overhead and the potential for misconfiguration.
* High-Performance Connectivity: Equipped with eight Gigabit Ethernet ports, the FS-108F delivers the high-speed throughput necessary for today´s bandwidth-intensive applications, including high-definition video streaming, VoIP communications, and connecting multiple high-speed wireless access points.
* Rapid and Scalable Deployment: Ideal for SD-Branch environments, the switch supports zero-touch deployment. Once connected, it automatically discovers the managing FortiGate and downloads its configuration, enabling rapid rollout across multiple locations without requiring onsite IT expertise.
* Silent and Compact Design: The fanless architecture ensures quiet performance, while its small form factor allows for flexible placement on a desktop, shelf, or mounted discreetly, perfect for space-constrained environments.
