Freewell ND16/PL Filter for Drones Category:

Photo-video Subcategory:

Drones Unlock the full cinematic potential of your drone´s camera with the Freewell ND16/PL Filter, an essential accessory for any serious aerial photographer or videographer.

Expertly engineered to enhance your creative control, this hybrid filter masterfully combines the functions of a Neutral Density (ND) and a Polarizing (PL) filter into a single, lightweight unit.

It is the perfect solution for capturing stunning, professional-grade footage in bright, sunny conditions without compromising on quality or the safety of your drone.

Achieve the coveted cinematic motion blur by perfectly controlling your drone camer´s shutter speed.

The ND16 aspect of the filter reduces the amount of light entering the lens by 4 f-stops, making it ideal for shooting on bright, cloudless days.

This allows you to maintain a lower, more natural shutter speed, resulting in smooth, fluid video that avoids the choppy, amateurish look of overexposed footage.

Simultaneously, the integrated polarizing element works to cut through unwanted glare and reflections from non-metallic surfaces like water, glass, and foliage.

This dramatically increases color saturation and contrast, making blue skies pop, greenery appear more lush, and landscapes look incredibly vivid and clear, directly from the camera.

Freewell´s commitment to optical excellence is evident in the filter´s construction.

It is built using premium, color-neutral optical glass to ensure that your footage remains true-to-life, without any color cast or degradation in sharpness.

The glass is treated with multiple layers of advanced coatings on both sides, making it effectively dustproof, scratch-resistant, oilproof, and hydrophobic.

This durable protection ensures the filter can withstand the rigors of outdoor use while being incredibly easy to clean, keeping your lens pristine for the perfect shot.

Designed with Freewell´s proprietary GimbalSafe technology, the filter features an ultra-lightweight yet robust frame, guaranteeing that it will not overload or interfere with the delicate mechanics of your drone´s gimbal, ensuring perfectly stable and smooth footage every time you fly.
