Gembird FTP CAT 6A LSZH network cable 0.5 m

Gembird FTP CAT 6A LSZH Network Cable 0.5m | Secure High-Speed Connectivity

Experience the pinnacle of network performance and safety with the Gembird S/FTP CAT 6A LSZH Network Cable. This premium 0.5-meter patch cord is engineered for demanding, high-bandwidth applications, delivering the speed and reliability required for modern home and business networks. Whether you are setting up a professional data center, a high-performance office environment, or an advanced home media or gaming system, this cable provides a stable, future-proof foundation for all your connectivity needs. Its short 0.5m length is perfect for creating clean, clutter-free connections in network cabinets, patching between servers and switches, or connecting nearby desktop devices without excess cable.

Achieve unparalleled data transfer speeds with full CAT 6A compliance. This cable is specifically designed to support 10-Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000/10000 Mbps), operating at frequencies up to 250 MHz. This ensures that your network can handle large file transfers, 4K video streaming, intensive online gaming, and other data-heavy tasks without bottlenecks or lag. The superior construction guarantees maximum performance and backward compatibility with previous network standards like Cat 6 and Cat 5e.

The standout feature of this cable is its robust dual-shielding design (S/FTP - Screened/Foiled Twisted Pair). Each of the four twisted pairs is individually wrapped in a metal foil, and the entire bundle of wires is then encased in an overall braid shield. This comprehensive shielding provides exceptional protection against both near-end crosstalk (NEXT) and external electromagnetic interference (EMI/RFI) from sources like power lines, fluorescent lights, and other electronic devices. The result is an incredibly stable, noise-free signal for a truly reliable connection you can depend on.

Safety is paramount, which is why this cable features a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket. In the event of a fire, LSZH materials emit very low levels of smoke and do not produce the toxic halogen compounds found in traditional PVC cables. This makes it the ideal and often mandatory choice for installation in public spaces, offices, data centers, and poorly ventilated areas, ensuring a safer environment for personnel and equipment.

Built for longevity and ease of use, the cable includes gold-plated contacts that resist corrosion and ensure optimal signal conductivity over time. The molded strain reliefs provide robust support at the connector junction, preventing the cable from damage due to bending or pulling. Furthermore, the snagless boot design protects the RJ45 connector´s locking tab from being accidentally broken or snagged during installation and removal, making cable management smoother and more efficient.
