Gembird S/FTP LSZH 0.25 m CAT6a network cable

GEMBIRD S/FTP LSZH CAT6a Network Cable (0.25m) - High-Performance Shielded Connection

Unlock the full potential of your high-speed network with the GEMBIRD S/FTP LSZH CAT6a Network Cable. Expertly engineered for demanding environments, this 0.25-meter patch cord is the ultimate solution for creating stable, high-bandwidth connections where performance and reliability are paramount. Designed to support data transfer speeds for 10-Gigabit Ethernet, this cable ensures you experience minimal latency and maximum throughput, making it ideal for professional networking, data centers, high-end gaming rigs, and 4K/8K video streaming. The short 0.25m length is perfect for connecting devices in close proximity, such as in server racks, patch panels, or for linking a wall outlet to a nearby computer, eliminating excess cable clutter and promoting a clean, organized setup.

This CAT 6A cable is built for a perfect, interference-free connection. Its superior construction utilizes a dual-shielded S/FTP (Screened/Foiled Twisted Pair) design. Each individual pair of conductors is wrapped in a metallic foil shield to prevent crosstalk between pairs, and the entire bundle of four pairs is then encased in a high-density braid shield. This robust, dual-layer shielding provides maximum protection against both high and low-frequency electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio-frequency interference (RFI) from nearby power lines, motors, and other electronic devices. The result is a pristine, stable, and exceptionally reliable signal, ensuring your data integrity is maintained even in the most electronically noisy environments.

Safety and durability are at the core of this cable´s design. The jacket is made from a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) compound. In the event of a fire, this material emits very little smoke and no toxic halogen compounds, making it a mandatory requirement for public spaces, office buildings, data centers, and other enclosed areas where air quality and safety are critical. For long-term performance, the cable features high-quality plated contacts that ensure superior conductivity and resist corrosion over time. The robust molded strain reliefs prevent the cable from being damaged at the connector junction, while the snagless boot design protects the RJ45 connector´s locking tab from being broken or snagged during installation and removal, guaranteeing a frustration-free experience and a long service life.
