Gitzo GS2370LA Series 2 Magnesium Quick Release System with Long Plate

Elevate your photographic and videographic workflow with the Gitzo GS2370LA Quick Release System, a premium accessory designed for professionals who demand speed, security, and perfect balance. This Series 2 adapter is engineered to convert standard tripod heads to a quick release system, or to upgrade existing Gitzo heads, providing a seamless and efficient connection for your camera gear. Crafted from ultra-lightweight and incredibly strong magnesium, this system ensures maximum strength and rigidity without adding unnecessary weight to your setup, making it ideal for both studio and field work.

The GS2370LA is built around the universally recognized Arca-Swiss compatible standard, offering broad compatibility with a vast range of plates and L-brackets from various manufacturers. This versatility allows you to integrate the Gitzo system into your existing equipment lineup effortlessly. The heart of the system is its long plate, specifically designed to provide superior balance and stability for cameras equipped with long telephoto lenses or heavy video rigs. By allowing for greater fore-aft adjustment, it helps you find the perfect center of gravity, reducing strain on your tripod head and ensuring sharper, more stable shots.

Key Benefits:

* Effortless Speed and Security: Streamline your setup process with the rapid-action screw-knob locking mechanism. A secondary safety catch provides an extra layer of protection, preventing your valuable camera and lens from accidentally sliding out of the adapter, giving you complete peace of mind during adjustments.
* Optimal Balance for Heavy Gear: The included long quick release plate is the perfect solution for balancing long, heavy telephoto lenses or professional video cameras. This precise balancing capability minimizes vibrations and prevents lens creep, resulting in superior image and video quality.
* Robust and Lightweight Construction: Made from high-quality magnesium, the adapter body offers an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio. It is built to withstand the rigors of professional use while keeping your overall kit as light as possible.
* Universal Arca-Swiss Compatibility: The Arca-Swiss style profile ensures that this system works seamlessly with a wide array of camera plates and accessories, making it a versatile and future-proof investment for any serious photographer or videographer.
