Lowepro Flipside 500 AW II backpack

Lowepro Flipside 500 AW II: The Ultimate High-Capacity Camera Backpack for Professionals

Elevate your photography adventures with the Lowepro Flipside 500 AW II, the definitive backpack for serious photographers and videographers who demand security, capacity, and all-day comfort. Engineered for the modern landscape—from rugged backcountry trails to bustling urban environments—this backpack provides a superior solution for carrying, protecting, and accessing your extensive camera kit. Its smart design and robust features make it the perfect partner for professionals and enthusiasts who never want to miss a shot.

Experience unparalleled peace of mind with the signature flipside design, offering body-side access to your gear. This innovative system means the main compartment rests securely against your back, preventing unauthorized access while you wear the pack. When you need your equipment, simply rotate the bag to your front while the waist belt is secured, allowing you to access everything without ever putting your bag down on wet or dirty ground. This combination of security and accessibility is a game-changer for photographers on the move.

The Flipside 500 AW II boasts an incredibly spacious and customizable main compartment, designed to accommodate a substantial amount of professional gear. It’s built for the long lens, easily fitting a Pro DSLR with a 400mm lens attached or a 500mm lens detached. Beyond that, its flexible dividers can be configured to hold 1-2 extra camera bodies, 4-6 additional lenses, and a flash, or even a compact drone setup. For the complete digital workflow, dedicated CradleFit™ pockets suspend and protect a 15” laptop and a 10” tablet from impact.

Built to withstand the elements, the integrated All Weather AW Cover™ provides critical protection against rain, snow, dust, and sand, ensuring your valuable equipment stays safe and dry in any environment. Comfort for long treks is guaranteed with an adjustable sternum strap and a padded, load-bearing waistbelt that distributes weight evenly, reducing fatigue. Additional features like the hideaway tripod mount system, multiple storage pockets, and a removable accessory pouch ensure that every piece of your kit has a secure and accessible home.
