Manfrotto 116SP1 D11.6 Tripod

Manfrotto 116SP1 Retractable Rubber/Metal Spiked Foot

Unlock unparalleled stability for your photography and videography with the Manfrotto 116SP1 Retractable Rubber/Metal Spiked Foot. This essential tripod accessory is engineered for creative professionals and passionate enthusiasts who refuse to let challenging terrain compromise their vision. Whether you are shooting in a pristine studio or on a rugged outdoor location, the 116SP1 provides the solid, unwavering foundation your equipment deserves, ensuring sharper images and smoother video capture.

The core benefit of the 116SP1 lies in its brilliant dual-purpose design. It seamlessly transitions between a non-slip rubber foot for delicate indoor surfaces and a robust metal spike for conquering the outdoors. For studio work, corporate shoots, or use on polished hardwood, tile, or marble floors, the high-grip rubber pad protects surfaces from scratches while preventing any tripod slippage. When your creative journey takes you outside, a simple retractable mechanism reveals the sharp metal spike. This spike significantly increases stability on soft earth surfaces, anchoring your tripod firmly in grass, mud, sand, or loose gravel. This eliminates vibrations and micro-movements, which are critical for long exposures, macro photography, and stable video panning.

Durability and longevity are at the heart of this accessory´s construction. The spike is made of a special hard anodised aluminium alloy extremely resistant to corrosion. This advanced material ensures that the foot can withstand the rigors of frequent use in damp, humid, or even coastal environments without succumbing to rust or degradation. It is a small, yet powerful, upgrade that guarantees reliable performance for years to come. This accessory is an investment in the security of your gear and the quality of your work.

Installation is straightforward and secure. This reversible rubber/metal spiked foot is supplied with a dedicated fixing tool, allowing you to quickly and easily attach it to compatible tripod legs. Its lightweight design ensures that it adds maximum stability with a minimal impact on your overall gear weight, making it a perfect addition to any photographer´s or videographer´s kit.
