Manfrotto 117B Pro Tripod

Manfrotto 117B Pro Video Tripod: Professional Stability and Precision

For the professional videographer who demands uncompromising stability and precision, the Manfrotto 117B Pro Video Tripod stands as the industry benchmark for heavy-duty support. Engineered for broadcast, studio, and demanding field applications, this tripod provides the rock-solid foundation necessary for capturing flawless, steady footage. The stainless steel extension legs and extra sturdy leg locks make this the robust choice for video crews around the world, delivering confidence and reliability on any set.

At the heart of its design is the precision-engineered geared center column. This signature feature allows for incredibly smooth and fine-tuned height adjustments, even under a heavy payload. Forget jerky movements when setting your camera height; simply turn the crank to raise or lower your camera with millimeter accuracy, ensuring your framing is always perfect. This level of control is indispensable for studio work and interviews where precise composition is critical. The 117B also features a built-in spirit level at the shoulder, enabling quick and effortless leveling to guarantee a perfectly horizontal horizon without needing external tools.

Built for maximum rigidity and durability, the 117B incorporates a telescopic mid level spreader. This crucial component dramatically enhances torsional stability, preventing the legs from splaying and ensuring the entire system remains rigid, even when supporting camera rigs weighing up to 18 kg. This makes it the ideal support for professional video cameras, ENG/EFP setups, and rigs equipped with sliders, teleprompters, or long lenses. Seamlessly transition from polished studio floors to rugged outdoor terrain with the versatile combination of rubber feet, for excellent grip and surface protection, and a retractable metal spike for anchoring securely into soft ground. Comes complete with rubber feet and retractable metal spike.
