Manfrotto 172 Mini Clamp 1.3Kg

Manfrotto 172 Mini Clamp with Counterweight | Secure Your Booms & Light Stands

Achieve perfect balance and unwavering stability in your photo or video setup with the Manfrotto 172 Mini Clamp, an essential accessory for any professional or enthusiast creator. This compact yet powerful tool is engineered to provide a reliable counterbalance for boom arms and light stands, ensuring your expensive equipment remains secure and perfectly positioned throughout your shoot. Whether you´re in a controlled studio environment or working on a dynamic location, the Manfrotto 172 is the key to a safer, more efficient workflow.

Enhanced Stability and Unmatched Safety

The primary benefit of the Manfrotto 172 is its ability to expertly manage off-center loads. When using a boom arm to position a light, microphone, or reflector, the center of gravity shifts, creating a risk of the entire stand tipping over. The included 1.4kg counterweight effectively neutralizes this imbalance, anchoring your setup and providing complete peace of mind. This allows you to extend booms further and use heavier modifiers with confidence, protecting your investment in lights, cameras, and lenses from accidental damage.

Versatile and Adaptable Mounting Solution

Versatility is at the core of the Manfrotto 172´s design. This robust accessory Clamps On Bars From Diameter 13mm To 30mm, making it compatible with a vast range of industry-standard support equipment. Effortlessly attach it to the main column or leg of any light stand, C-stand, boom pole, or tripod system that falls within this diameter range. The secure, easy-to-operate locking knob allows for quick adjustments and a rock-solid grip, ensuring the clamp and weight stay exactly where you place them without any slipping or sagging. Its "mini" profile ensures it adds maximum stability with a minimal footprint, keeping your setup clean and unobtrusive. Built to the high standards of the Manfrotto brand, this clamp is a durable and indispensable part of any serious lighting kit.
