Manfrotto 520BALLSH Head 75 mm

Manfrotto 520BALLSH 75mm Short Half Ball | Tripod Levelling Accessory

Achieve perfect levelling with speed and precision using the Manfrotto 520BALLSH 75mm Short Half Ball. This essential accessory is expertly engineered for professional videographers and photographers who demand stability, versatility, and efficiency in their workflow. Designed to bridge the gap between different equipment standards, the 520BALLSH allows you to mount any Manfrotto flat-base video or photo head onto a tripod equipped with a 75mm bowl. This opens up a world of creative possibilities, ensuring you can use your preferred head on a superior levelling tripod base, regardless of their native mounting systems.

The primary benefit of this half ball lies in its ability to facilitate rapid and independent levelling of your camera setup. When working on uneven terrain, slopes, or unpredictable surfaces, simply adjust the half ball within the tripod´s bowl to achieve a perfectly horizontal pan, eliminating the need to tediously adjust individual tripod leg lengths. This saves invaluable time on set and ensures every shot is framed with professional accuracy.

Crafted from high-quality, durable aluminium, the 520BALLSH is built to withstand the rigours of constant professional use in both studio and challenging field environments. Its robust construction guarantees a secure, wobble-free connection between your tripod and head, providing the solid foundation necessary for smooth camera movements and crystal-clear footage. This accessory is an indispensable component for filmmakers and videographers who rely on fluid heads for cinematic pans and tilts.

It comes complete with a short locking handle to mount all Manfrotto flat-base heads to any 75mm bowl tripod, including the 529B Hi-Hat (with optional adapter 319). The short handle is a significant ergonomic advantage, particularly for low-angle and ground-level shooting. Its compact design prevents it from obstructing movement or getting in the way when the tripod legs are splayed wide, giving you greater freedom and control when composing your shots from a low perspective. The universal 3/8" screw provides a secure and standard attachment point for a wide range of professional heads.
