Designed for photographers and videographers who demand perfection in study and lighting setups, this diffuser cover is the key to transforming harsh, unflattering light into a beautifully soft and controlled source, whether you´re in the studio or battling unpredictable conditions on location.

This diffuser cover is an integral part of the revolutionary Skylite Rapid system. Created specifically for the location photographer who requires dependable lighting control in the most demanding situations, the Skylite Rapid´s collapsible but exceptionally rigid aluminum frame delivers unparalleled performance, remaining stable and reliable even in windy conditions. The genius of the system lies in its versatility; the Skylite Rapid change covers, including this diffuser, simply clip into place, allowing for swift and effortless modification of your light source to match your creative vision.

The LR82201R diffuser produces a gentle, diffused effect that wraps elegantly around your subject, minimizing harsh shadows and reducing specular highlights for incredibly flattering results. It is the ideal tool for creating soft, even light for portraits, fashion, and corporate headshots, rendering beautiful skin tones and pleasing catchlights in the eyes. For videographers, it provides a broad, consistent light source perfect for interviews and cinematic scenes, eliminating the "hot spots" often produced by direct lighting. The large 2x2 meter surface area creates a significant light source that can easily illuminate individuals or small groups with a single, stunningly soft light.

One of the system´s core strengths is its modularity. All Manfrotto Skylite frames are fully compatible with both the original Skylite covers and the newer Skylite Rapid covers. This diffuser cover for the Skylite Rapid frame is available separately, empowering you to build a customized lighting kit. You can mix and match different surfaces—from reflectors to diffusers—to create a truly versatile and expandable system that grows with your needs.
