Manfrotto Sympla Camera Mounting Bar 150 mm

MANFROTTO Sympla Camera Mounting Bar 150 mm

Elevate your filmmaking and videography with the MANFROTTO Sympla Camera Mounting Bar 150 mm, a foundational component designed for building professional, lightweight, and highly adaptable camera rigs. As a core element of the acclaimed Manfrotto Sympla system, these short rods provide the essential structure for mounting a wide range of accessories with precision and stability. Engineered for videographers who demand both performance and portability, these mounting bars allow you to construct a support system that is perfectly tailored to your camera setup and shooting style, ensuring smooth, steady, and uncompromised footage. The 150mm length is specifically optimized for creating compact and efficient configurations, making it the ideal choice for streamlined rigs where agility is key.

The 150mm (5.9´´) Short Rods are one of the basic building blocks of all Sympla rigs, and are always used in parallel pairs to create a track which allows components to be mounted and positioned correctly. Rods can be united (using the included screw junctions), joined at different heights using the V-Offset component, or shifted laterally using the H-Offset component. These short rods are compact and useful for mounting elements like the Sympla Shoulder Pad, Camera Body Support or Lens Support, or Adjustable Handles that require only minimal back-front adjustment. Made in 15mm (0.59´´) diameter tubular aluminum for strength and reduced weight, 150mm rods are the shorter of Sympl´s two sizes. Supplied as a pair, with two 1/2”-13unc screw junctions included.

Crafted from high-grade tubular aluminum, these rods masterfully balance exceptional strength with a remarkably low weight. This intelligent design choice minimizes operator fatigue during long shoots and simplifies transport, without ever sacrificing the rigidity needed to support your valuable camera and lens equipment. The industry-standard 15mm diameter ensures universal compatibility within the Sympla ecosystem and with a vast array of third-party video accessories, giving you the freedom to build and expand your rig without limitation. The standard inner threading further enhances this modularity, allowing rods to be securely connected end-to-end for extended reach when your project demands it. Whether you are building a shoulder-mounted rig for run-and-gun documentary work or a stable setup for cinematic interviews, these rods provide the reliable and versatile framework you need.

Adapters
As a fundamental mounting adapter, these 150 mm rods form the primary track of the Sympla support system. They function as the essential interface for attaching and positioning all other Sympla components, effectively adapting a bare camera body into a fully functional and ergonomic video rig.
