Mikrotik CRS328-24P-4S+RM switch

Discover unparalleled performance and versatility with the MIKROTIK CRS328-24P-4S+RM, a formidable Cloud Router Switch designed to be the central nervous system of your demanding network environment. This device is engineered for professionals who require robust power, high-speed connectivity, and intelligent management in a single, efficient package. It is the ultimate upgrade for businesses, enterprises, and advanced users looking to build a scalable and future-proof infrastructure.

The power of the CRS328-24P-4S+RM lies in its exceptional connectivity options. It features twenty-four Gigabit Ethernet ports, each equipped with Power over Ethernet (PoE) output. This switch intelligently auto-detects and provides the correct power for 802.3af/at PoE/PoE+ devices, as well as supporting passive PoE for other equipment. This functionality dramatically simplifies your setup by allowing you to power a wide array of devices—such as IP cameras, VoIP phones, and wireless access points—directly through the Ethernet cable, eliminating the need for separate power adapters and reducing cable clutter. With a substantial total PoE budget, you can confidently power numerous devices simultaneously.

For high-bandwidth applications and eliminating network bottlenecks, the switch includes four 10 Gbps SFP+ ports. These are ideal for lightning-fast uplinks to servers, Network Attached Storage (NAS), or for interconnecting multiple switches with a high-speed fiber backbone. This ensures smooth data flow and top-tier performance even under heavy traffic loads, supporting data-intensive tasks with ease.

What truly sets the MIKROTIK CRS328-24P-4S+RM apart is its dual-boot capability, offering you the choice between two powerful operating systems. For straightforward, high-performance Layer 2 switching, you can boot into SwOS. It provides a simplified, user-friendly web interface to manage all essential switch-specific functions, such as port-to-port forwarding, MAC filtering, VLAN configuration, and traffic mirroring. For users who need more, a simple reboot into RouterOS unlocks a world of Layer 3 routing features. With RouterOS, the switch transforms into a fully capable router, offering dynamic routing, a robust firewall, VPN services, Quality of Service (QoS), and much more, giving you complete control over your network traffic. This "best of both worlds" approach provides unmatched flexibility to tailor the device´s function to your specific needs.
