Mio MiVue SmartBox IV: Continuous Power and Intelligent Protection for Your Dash Cam

Unlock the full potential of your Mio MiVue dash cam with the MiVue SmartBox IV, the essential hardwiring solution designed for uninterrupted vehicle surveillance and complete peace of mind. This intelligent power accessory elevates your dash cam from a simple driving recorder to a 24/7 security system, ensuring you capture critical moments even when your vehicle is parked and the engine is off. The SmartBox IV provides a constant and stable power supply directly from your vehicle´s battery, activating the crucial Parking Mode feature on your compatible Mio dash cam. This allows your device to monitor its surroundings and automatically record any detected motion or impact, providing invaluable evidence in the event of a hit-and-run, vandalism, or attempted theft while you are away.

Engineered with advanced battery protection technology, the MiVue SmartBox IV vigilantly prevents the discharge of your car´s battery. Its primary function is to intelligently monitor your vehicle´s battery voltage levels. Should the voltage drop below a pre-set value, the SmartBox IV will automatically cut power to the dash cam, guaranteeing you always have sufficient power to start your engine. This low-voltage cut-off feature is fully adjustable, offering multiple voltage settings so you can customize the protection level based on your vehicle´s battery condition and your personal preference, providing a perfect balance between extended recording time and battery preservation.

Further enhancing its power management capabilities, the MiVue SmartBox IV incorporates a programmable timer. This allows you to set a maximum duration for which the dash cam will receive power after the engine is turned off. Choose from several time-limit options to precisely control how long Parking Mode remains active, adding another layer of sophisticated battery management. Whether you need surveillance for a few hours or for an extended period, the SmartBox IV gives you complete control.

Designed for broad versatility, this smart charger is compatible with both 12V and 24V electrical systems, making it the ideal power solution for a wide range of vehicles, from standard passenger cars and SUVs to larger trucks and commercial vans. By integrating directly with your vehicle´s ACC (Accessory) power signal, it smartly switches between driving and parking modes without any manual intervention. Installation provides a clean, professional, and cable-free setup, eliminating the need to occupy your car´s 12V socket. The Mio MiVue SmartBox IV is more than just a charger; it is an essential security upgrade that ensures your dash cam is always ready to protect what matters most
