Nintendo Switch Digimon Survive Code in box

Digimon Survive (Code in a Box) for Nintendo Switch

Uncover a dark and captivating story of survival in a strange new world with Digimon Survive for the Nintendo Switch. This unique title masterfully blends the rich, character-driven narrative of a visual novel with the deep, strategic challenge of a tactical role-playing game, creating an unforgettable adventure where your choices carry immense weight.

This is a story of survival in a strange new world. In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Digimon anime, Digimon Survive presents a new adventure set in a mysterious world with characters designed by Uichi Ukumo and music by the acclaimed Tomoki Miyoshi. In Digimon Survive, a new group of teenagers, led by Takuma Momozuka, get lost on a school camping trip and find themselves transported to a strange new world of monsters and danger. As they fight their way back home through an animated world of difficult decisions and deadly battles, players’ choices throughout the game will impact the evolution of their monster allies, and the final ending. Battles in the game are fought in 2D, in a classic tactical RPG style.

Your journey through this mysterious realm is primarily driven by your interactions and decisions. The narrative unfolds through beautifully animated scenes, where your dialogue choices directly influence your Karma and your relationships with other characters. These choices are not merely cosmetic; they directly shape the Digivolution path of your partner Digimon and determine which of the multiple story branches and endings you will experience. This emphasis on player agency ensures a deeply personal and replayable adventure, as a different set of choices can lead to a completely different outcome.

When danger arises, the gameplay seamlessly transitions to tactical, grid-based combat. Command your team of Digimon, leveraging their unique skills, types, and Digivolutions to gain a strategic advantage. Positioning, elemental affinities, and careful use of SP are key to overcoming the formidable foes that stand in your way. Befriend new Digimon, train your partners, and build a powerful squad to survive the perilous battles that await.
