Nintendo Switch Ikenfell Limited Run #121

Embark on a magical, heartfelt journey with Ikenfell, presented in this exclusive physical edition for the Nintendo Switch from Limited Run Games. As entry 121 in the coveted Limited Run collection, this isn´t just a game—it´s a tangible piece of gaming history, perfect for collectors and enthusiasts who value physical media. Secure your copy of this modern RPG classic and own it forever on a physical Switch cartridge.

Ikenfell invites you to a world of magic and mystery. You play as Maritte, an ordinary, non-magical girl who travels to the prestigious Ikenfell school of magic in a desperate search for her missing sister. But once inside, she discovers a world of trouble. Friendships are strained, secrets are buried deep, and a dark force is threatening the very foundations of the school. Armed with newfound powers she doesn´t understand, Maritte must gather a group of misfit students, navigate the treacherous halls and grounds of the school, and uncover the truth behind her sister´s disappearance.

Experience a deeply personal and emotional story that explores themes of friendship, trust, love, and loss. Ikenfell´s narrative is brought to life by a charming and diverse cast of characters, each with their own struggles and motivations. The game masterfully blends a whimsical, charming aesthetic with surprisingly mature and poignant storytelling, creating an unforgettable adventure.

The gameplay offers a unique and strategic twist on the classic turn-based RPG formula. Battles are tactical and engaging, requiring careful positioning on an isometric grid. But the real innovation lies in the timing-based mechanics. Every spell and attack requires a timed button press to maximize its power or to defend against enemy assaults, keeping you fully engaged in every single encounter. It’s a system that is easy to learn but offers deep strategic rewards for those who master it.
