Other Selves Tenra Bansho Zero Book

Spanish Language.

TenraBanshoZero is a completely and absolutely incredible Japanese role-playing game, which breaks with the concepts we have of this type of game in the West, and which introduced a series of ideas that were tremendously revolutionary at the time and continue to be so today.

It is a unique game, inspired by the kabuki theater, that pushes the drama to unsuspected limits, fully involves the table in the development of the characters, generates a storm of emotions and replicates with incredible fidelity the spirit of the combats that can seen in manga and anime.

Tenra Bansho Zero is lightning fast, with a simple system centered around the idea of karma and character attachments, compressing an entire campaign into just 6 hours of gameplay, turning each character into a tragic hero driven by their passions.

Its structure replicates that of a play, with its acts, scenes and breaks.

During these cutscenes, players get Aiki for playing their character and making the game more intense and fun.

And the best thing is that this Aiki will later become Kiai, which they can use to enhance the abilities of their characters to unsuspected limits.

Thus, the creativity, camaraderie and energy of the players is rewarded within the game.

But you have to be careful, because not using these powers wisely could condemn the character to become an Asura, a terrible demon.

We could spend hours talking about the very special mechanics of Tenra Bansho Zero, like the emotion matrix or the death square, but we must let you discover it for yourselves when we publish the game.

Regarding the setting, the games of Tenra Bansho Zero are set in the distant future on a distant planet, in which humanity lives in an era similar to that of the civil wars (sengoku) of feudal Japan.

It is a world that would be medieval fantastic except for one exception:the extremely advanced technology in the military field, which we could almost consider technomagic and whose monopoly had until recently the Shinto priestly caste.

We are talking about mechs that can only be flown by children, samurai that lock a demon inside their body to gain more power, onmyoji exorcists that control spirits, cyborgs that have sacrificed part of their body, Buddhist monks, kugutsu dolls carved from from a sacred tree whose value is greater than that of an entire kingdom, mushi-tsukais that house monstrous annelids that obey their will, Shintoist technomages, ninjas that inhabit remote villages, onis and even Kongohkis:robots controlled by a prisoner soul that He has not been able to reincarnate.

It is a setting that exudes energy and color on all four sides and that makes it clear that this game comes from Japan.

The edition, unlike the Japanese and the American, is a single book, which includes not only the basic book itself as published in its native country, but also a large amount of material that appeared in Japan in form of supplements.

The end result is a stunning A4-sized, hardbound, stitched (very sturdy!) tome of almost 530 pages and packed to the brim with incredible quality illustrations.

In addition, it also has a cloth strip to mark the reading point.

Most of the book will be in black and white, since the illustrations inside are not in color, but the first 32 pages will be printed in full color, since they contain a spectacular introductory manga and a full-page description of the character types.
