Panini Subnormal Euskera comic

Subnormal (Euskera Edition) - A Powerful Graphic Novel by PANINI Comics

Discover the graphic novel that has become a powerful symbol of resilience and a crucial tool in the fight against bullying. Published by PANINI Comics, "Subnormal" is more than just a comic; it is a raw, honest, and ultimately inspiring true story that has resonated deeply across Spain and is now available in this special Euskera language edition. This essential addition to any Fan Zone´s Books and Comics collection offers a profound and moving reading experience, masterfully transforming a testimony of survival into a work of art.

At the heart of this poignant narrative is the real-life experience of a Spanish icon.

Iñaki Zubizarreta, an extraordinary basketball player with an unpronounceable surname, was a victim of relentless bullying during his school years.

His height and physical strength were of little use to him in the face of the cruelty of his tormentors, who even drove him to the brink of death.

We are all different.

Fernando Llor has written the script for this true story, and Miguel Porto has done the illustrations, under Iñaki´s supervision.

Indeed, in Spain we see Iñaki as the image of those who stand up to this type of abuse.

"Subnormal" stands as a testament to the strength of the human spirit. The direct involvement of Iñaki Zubizarreta himself, who supervised the project from start to finish, ensures an unparalleled level of authenticity and emotional weight. This is not a fictional tale but a carefully reconstructed journey through pain, isolation, and the eventual discovery of self-worth. The collaboration between Fernando Llor’s sensitive and impactful script and Miguel Porto’s evocative and powerful illustrations creates an unforgettable narrative that captures the darkness of bullying while shining a light on the path toward healing and empowerment.

This Euskera edition offers a unique opportunity for Basque-speaking readers to connect with Iñaki´s story in their native language, adding another layer of personal and cultural significance. For collectors and fans of global comics, it represents a meaningful and distinct version of a critically important European graphic novel. By choosing this book, you are not just acquiring a comic; you are embracing a story of courage that has become a banner for social awareness. It is an essential read for fans of biographical graphic novels, educators, parents, and anyone who believes in the power of stories to inspire change and foster empathy.
