In the year 2047, the rescue ship *Lewis and Clark* is sent to investigate the mysterious reappearance in Neptune´s orbit of an experimental ship, the *Event Horizon*, which had disappeared years earlier with its entire crew. In the year 2040, the ship *Event Horizon* was launched on its maiden voyage, a technological marvel designed with a revolutionary gravity drive capable of bending spacetime to create a gateway for faster-than-light travel. It vanished on its first mission, presumed lost forever. Now, seven years later, a distress signal—a fragmented and terrifying series of screams and warnings—has been detected. Your mission is to board the ghost ship and uncover the truth.

Led by the stoic Captain Miller (Laurence Fishburne) and accompanied by the gravity drive´s haunted creator, Dr. William Weir (Sam Neill), the crew of the *Lewis and Clark* docks with the derelict vessel. They find a scene of carnage and a palpable sense of dread. The ship’s log is a record of pure terror, and as the rescue team explores the darkened, blood-stained corridors, they begin to experience vivid hallucinations of their deepest fears and regrets. They soon realize the *Event Horizon* didn´t just travel to the stars; it crossed into a dimension of pure chaos and evil, and it has brought something back with it. The ship itself is alive, and it has a horrifying new destination in mind for its new crew.
