Resident Evil 4 arrives on the PlayStation 4, bringing its legendary campaign and heart-pounding tension to a new generation of players. This definitive HD edition preserves the unforgettable essence of the original while enhancing the experience with significant performance upgrades, making it the ultimate way to witness a pivotal moment in video game history. This is not just a game; it is a benchmark for action, horror, and narrative-driven adventure.

In Resident Evil 4, special agent Leon S. Kennedy is sent on a mission to rescue the kidnapped daughter of the President of the United States. Leon will plunge into the bowels of a European village (with a suspicious resemblance to any village in El Bierzo, since although it is never said, this title is set in Spain), facing new threats that go beyond the traditional zombies from previous installments in the series. Leon will fight intensely against new creatures that have been infected by a new threat called ´´Las Plagas´´. And in addition, he must survive massive attacks from enemies, including the villagers themselves, whose mind is controlled by ´´The Illuminated´´, which is the mysterious sect behind the kidnapping of the girl.
