Team Sonic Racing PS4: The Ultimate Cooperative Arcade Racer

Rev your engines and prepare for a revolutionary take on high-speed kart racing with Team Sonic Racing for the PlayStation 4. This isn´t just about crossing the finish line first; it´s about doing it together. Step into a vibrant world inspired by the iconic Sonic the Hedgehog universe and experience a racing game where teamwork is the ultimate weapon. This PS4 title masterfully blends the exhilarating, easy-to-pick-up nature of classic arcade racers with the strategic depth of modern competitive games. The controls are intuitive, allowing new players to jump right into the action, but the sophisticated team mechanics offer a high skill ceiling for dedicated racers seeking to master every turn and boost.

Team Sonic Racing combines the best elements of arcade and fast-paced competitive style racing.

Face-off with friends in intense multiplayer racing, race together across stunning worlds and work together as a team by sharing power-ups and speed boosts. The heart of the game lies in its innovative 3-person team dynamics. You´ll race as a coordinated unit, where your collective success outweighs individual glory. Skim past a struggling teammate to grant them a "Slingshot" boost, propelling them back into the fray. Strategically transfer and receive powerful "Wisps" (the game´s unique power-ups) to attack rivals or defend your partners when they need it most. By working in perfect sync, your team can fill its Ultimate meter and unleash a game-changing Team Ultimate, a massive speed burst that makes you nearly unstoppable and can turn the tide of any race.

Take control of your racing style.

Forge your own path to victory by selecting from a roster of 15 beloved characters from the Sonic universe, each fitting into one of three distinct classes: Speed, Technique, and Power. Choose Speed-type characters like Sonic for unmatched top-end velocity. Opt for Technique-types like Tails, who can flawlessly glide over rough terrain like grass and sand without losing speed. Or, select a Power-type character like Knuckles to smash through obstacles and rival racers without flinching. Choose from 3 distinct character types and unlock game changing vehicle customization options to suit your racing style. Dive into the deep garage system to unlock and equip a vast array of performance and cosmetic parts for your vehicle. Fine-tune your car´s handling, acceleration, boost, and defense to create the perfect machine for your driving preferences and gain a critical edge on the competition.
