PLAYSTATION GAMES PS5 Formation Z

Blast back to the golden age of arcade gaming with Formation Z, meticulously revitalized for your PS5 console. This iconic 1984 scrolling shooter invites you to pilot the ultimate transforming combat craft in a desperate battle to save Earth from a hostile alien empire. Experience the pure, high-stakes action that defined a generation, now enhanced with modern features that deliver the definitive retro experience. On the PS5, you´ll dive into the action with virtually non-existent load times, ensuring you´re never more than a moment away from the heart of the battle.

Formation Z challenges your reflexes and strategic thinking with its revolutionary dual-mode gameplay. Seamlessly transform your ship, the "Z-bot," between a swift aerial fighter and a powerful ground-based robot. As a jet, soar through vertically scrolling stages, dodging enemy fire and engaging in intense dogfights against squadrons of alien vessels. When the fight moves to the planet´s surface, morph into your formidable robot form to navigate horizontally scrolling terrain, destroying ground installations and confronting heavily-armored foes. This dynamic transformation mechanic is the key to your survival and victory.

Harnessing the power of the PS5, this arcade classic is presented with crystal-clear fidelity, preserving the authentic pixel art and sound design that made the original a legend. Compete against players from around the globe by posting your best scores to the online leaderboards. Test your skills in dedicated "Hi Score Mode" and "Caravan Mode," where every point matters in a timed challenge. Customize your gameplay with adjustable difficulty settings, lives, and display options, including screen filters and orientation for that perfect arcade-at-home feel. Are you ready to pilot the Z-bot and etch your name into the annals of arcade history?
