KEY FEATURES

Design

• Hard-faced, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass.
• Stainless steel front casing with raised protective edges.
• AMOLED touchscreen: the 1.39-inch display has been expanded closer to the edges, giving users a 15% larger display than the Polar Grit X Pro. And at 326ppi, the screen is sharper, crisper, and more vivid than ever with a maximum brightness of 1050 nits – that doubles up as a flashlight at the touch of a button.
• Ultra-light: 79g total weight.

Navigation

• Dual-frequency GPS and signal-boosting antenna: More accurate positioning with less interference from tall buildings and bad weather.
• Offline Maps: Downloadable detailed topographic maps to keep users on the right track, no matter where they are.
• Pre-installed maps for Europe and North America. With free additional regions and continents available for download in Polar Flow.
• Turn-by-turn navigation powered by komoot: Sync routes to your watch for real-time turn-by-turn route guidance on the go with komoot’s superior planning and navigation technology.
• Strava Routes (coming soon): Polar will soon offer the ability to sync routes from Strava. With a Strava Premium subscription, you get access to their Route Planner. You can either create a new route, or even take a friend´s uploaded ride and turn that into a route.
• Planned Routes & Breadcrumb Trails: Planned routes help you navigate predetermined paths, and breadcrumbs allow you to retrace your steps to your starting point or previous location on any map following a trail of geotagged markers.
• New Vertical Speed & VAM metrics: Measure the rate at which you climb or descend so you can get more accurate data and insights into your upward or downward movements when you train in varying terrains. And 3D Speed factors in the speed you´re going on a horizontal plane, and the speed you´re going vertically, to calculate your true speed as you move onwards and upwards.
• Hill Splitter™: automatically detects all uphills and downhills by using your GPS-based speed, distance, and barometric altitude data.
• Altimeter, Barometer & Compass (ABC)

POLAR ELIXIR™ Biosensing Technologies

• Polar Elixir™: our all-new, all-powerful fusion of biosensing technology that is capable of analyzing and translating more biomarkers than anything before it– analyzing a spectrum of biological markers at phenomenal speeds to provide the best, clearest insights, and personalized guidance in sports and life.
• Optical Heart Rate (OHR) Gen 4: The new sensor has been redesigned to further reduce interference caused by movement and light leakage and improve power efficiency to provide accurate readings round the clock.
• Wrist-ECG: Electrocardiogram readings measure electrical signals of the heart from the wrist, enabling recovery features like Orthostatic Test without the need for a heart rate monitor chest strap.
• SpO2: The new pulse oximetry technology estimates the amount of oxygen you have circulating in your blood.
• Nightly Skin Temperature: Automatically tracks your temperature throughout the night and provides daily updates compared to your average from the previous 28 days.
