SAMYANG MF V-AF Adapter

Category: Photo-video
Subcategory: Lenses

Unlock the full cinematic potential of your Samyang V-AF lens series with the revolutionary Samyang MF V-AF Adapter. Designed for professional videographers and discerning filmmakers, this essential accessory expertly transforms your compact and lightweight V-AF autofocus lenses into a fully-featured manual focus cine lens, providing the tactile control and precision required for high-end productions. Elevate your creative workflow and achieve unparalleled accuracy with this innovative adapter.

The core of this adapter´s functionality is its ability to deliver an authentic manual cine lens experience. It provides an expansive 300° (Max.) of smooth, mechanical manual focus rotation. This extensive focus throw allows for incredibly precise and subtle focus pulls, a critical feature for narrative filmmaking and professional shoots. It is an essential accessory for any V-AF lens user, as it allows you to have all the features of a conventional, and often much larger, Cine lens.

A standout innovation is the adapter´s intelligent control integration. When the Manual Focus Adapter, or MF Adapter, is connected to a V-AF lens, the lens´s existing manual focus ring is ingeniously repurposed to function as a dedicated, de-clicked aperture control ring. This gives you direct, silent, and seamless control over your depth of field, just as you would expect from a premium cinema lens.

Special Features:

* Professional Rig Compatibility: Features a unified D95 (95mm) front diameter, allowing for the quick and secure attachment of a standard matte box without needing extra adapter rings.
* Intuitive Aperture Control: When the adapter is connected, the lens´s focus ring is instantly converted into a tactile aperture ring, enabling precise and silent f-stop adjustments during recording.
* Precise Distance Scale: A clear, detailed distance scale is marked on the side of the adapter, enabling focus pullers to accurately check and repeat focus marks for consistent, professional results.
* Custom Mode Functionality: Full compatibility with the lens´s custom switch is maintained, allowing you to operate your pre-set custom modes even with the adapter attached.
* Follow Focus Integration: The adapter is equipped with a standard MOD 0.8 focus gear, ensuring seamless compatibility and use with industry-standard follow focus systems for ultimate precision.
* Daylight-Visible Tally Lamp: An integrated front-facing LED tally lamp provides a clear visual indication of recording status, with sufficient intensity to be easily visible even in bright, broad daylight outdoor shooting conditions.
* Optimized for Compact Setups: Perfectly suited for small-scale video recording and agile run-and-gun projects, it forms a core component of the versatile Samyang Cine Kit ecosystem.
