Main Features.

Sharing the same size and weight across the entire V-AF line - Compact and lightweight.

The V-AF series lenses improve compatibility with gimbals and drones by sharing the same external design across their 5 focal lengths (from ultra-wide-angle to medium-telephoto).

They all offer a compact size of 73mm x 70mm and weigh only 300g.

Therefore, there is no need to adjust the equipment when changing from one lens to another.

Tally Light - Excellent functionality.

The Tally light, located on the front and on the mount index, helps to confirm whether a video is being recorded at that moment or not.

It facilitates content creation, even in limited spaces with very little equipment.

8K Support and unified color tone.

Despite being small and very light lenses, the new V-AF series supports 8K resolution.

Therefore, they are ideal for working both handheld, from drones or gimbals, as well as for productions in studios or various locations.

All lenses in the V-AF series share a unified color tone, which avoids errors when lenses are replaced in a production.

Its 9 diaphragm blades achieve a natural and harmonious bokeh.

Customizable switch and button.

The V-AF lens features the ´Focus save´ function (record focus), which is generally offered by professional cinema equipment.

In addition, a customizable mode adds functions through firmware, offering specific video functions for students and amateurs who dream of becoming audiovisual filmmakers.

With a total of 10 lenses distributed in 9 groups, Samyang uses 5 special elements (3 of Extra Low Dispersion and 2 of High Refraction) that create results with impeccable sharpness, very low chromatic aberration and minimal distortion.

Advanced Autofocus System.

Following current guidelines in which both video and photography must be taken into consideration, the autofocus of the AF 75mm F1.8 FE uses a new stepping motor (STM) for fast, silent and precise focusing, helping the photographer to capture every moment without complications.

Customization.

The focus ring is normally deactivated during AF mode. To improve its functionality, Samyang has introduced the concept of customization that allows adjusting the aperture with the focus ring.

Through a firmware update, the button can be customized to allow modification of operability according to the photographer´s preferences.
