A Desperate Cry is a four-player adventure designed for the Call of Cthulhu game system.

Due to the topics covered - violence, cancer, suicide -, its reading is recommended only to mature players.

This is a story based on the Mythos but it can hardly be considered a Lovecraftian adventure as such.

The cosmic horror is present, and perhaps in the end it will be unleashed on the entire population, but it is not the seed from which this story has germinated.

This adventure aims to take the Cthulhu Mythos to the limits of morality and test the convictions of the characters.

What happens when you can save a loved one at the cost of the lives of others? Is all spilled blood worth the same? ? Or maybe there are lives that are not worth living and others that are? What happens when the villain does good things using horrible means? Does the end justify the means? A desperate cry forces the characters to face these questions.

And he does it through an investigative adventure that, inspired by series like True Detective, will lead them, test after test, to the truth that is hidden in the swamps of southern Louisiana.
