Shelly Natural Gas Sensor

Shelly Natural Gas Sensor – Smart Wi-Fi CNG Detector for Home Safety

Ensure the safety and security of your home and loved ones with the Shelly Natural Gas Sensor, a state-of-the-art smart detector for modern living. Shelly GAS is a compact and highly sensitive Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) detector providing additional protection for your home and family. By seamlessly integrating into your smart home ecosystem, this Wi-Fi-operated sensor offers unparalleled peace of mind, alerting you to potential dangers instantly, wherever you are.

Instant Alerts and Advanced Smart Home Integration

The primary function of the Shelly Gas CNG sensor is to detect the presence of Natural Gas and provide immediate warnings. When a leak is detected, the device triggers both a loud audible alarm and a flashing visual LED alarm, ensuring anyone within the home is alerted to the hazard. However, its true power lies in its smart capabilities. Connected directly to your home´s Wi-Fi network, the sensor sends an instant notification to your smartphone via the free Shelly Cloud app. This means you are always informed, whether you are at work, on vacation, or just in the backyard.

Furthermore, the Shelly Natural Gas Sensor can be programmed to trigger other Shelly devices, creating automated safety scenes for comprehensive protection. For example, upon detecting gas, you can configure it to automatically cut the power to your gas-powered appliances using a Shelly relay, open motorized windows with a Shelly shutter controller for ventilation, or turn on all the lights in your home to illuminate an evacuation path.

Reliable Performance and Effortless Installation

Designed for ultimate reliability and ease of use, the Shelly GAS sensor is a crucial addition to any home. Its highly sensitive components are engineered to detect even small concentrations of Natural Gas, offering an early warning system against potentially dangerous situations. The device is powered directly from a standard AC outlet, eliminating the need for batteries and ensuring it is always active and protecting your home. Its wide voltage compatibility makes it suitable for electrical systems worldwide.

Installation is incredibly straightforward. With its simple wall-mounting design, you just need to plug it into a power socket in a strategic location—typically in the kitchen, boiler room, or any area with natural gas appliances. There is no need for a central hub or additional gateway; it connects directly to your Wi-Fi, offering a wireless connectivity range of up to 50 meters indoors. Its clean, minimalist white design allows it to blend discreetly into any home décor.
