Smallrig 2938 Sony ZV1 Camera cage

Unlock the full potential of your Sony ZV-1 with the SMALLRIG 2938 Camera Cage, an essential accessory designed to elevate your vlogging and filmmaking experience. This form-fitting full cage provides robust protection and a vast array of mounting options without compromising the compact nature and usability of your camera. Engineered specifically for the ZV-1, it transforms your camera into a professional-grade production tool, ready for any creative challenge.

The primary benefit of the SMALLRIG 2938 cage is its seamless integration and enhanced functionality. The cage secures firmly to the camera via a 1/4"-20 screw at the bottom, ensuring a stable and twist-free fit. Critically, its intelligent design provides complete, unobstructed access to the battery and memory card door, allowing for quick swaps without the need to remove the cage. All buttons, ports, and the articulating screen remain fully accessible, ensuring your workflow is never interrupted. The lightweight aluminum alloy construction offers durable protection against bumps and scratches during everyday use and transport, giving you peace of mind while shooting on the go.

Ergonomics and handling are significantly improved thanks to the integrated, non-slip silicone side grip. This thoughtful addition provides a comfortable and secure hold, increasing stability for handheld shooting and reducing fatigue during long vlogging sessions. This enhanced grip is a game-changer for a camera as compact as the ZV-1, giving you the confidence to capture smooth, steady footage.

Expand your creative possibilities with an extensive selection of accessory mounting points. The cage features multiple 1/4"-20 threaded holes along the top, side, and bottom, perfect for attaching top handles like the SMALLRIG HTN2756 for low-angle shots, or mounting external monitors and magic arms. An integrated cold shoe mount on the right side allows you to attach a microphone or a small LED light without interfering with the camer´s original hot shoe, which is often used for Sony´s wind muff. This clever placement ensures you can capture high-quality audio while maintaining a clean and compact setup. Additional strap slots are also included for attaching a wrist or neck strap for added security.
