Smallrig 5653 battery mount

SMALLRIG 5653 Battery Mount for Magic FIZ Handgrip

Elevate your professional filmmaking workflow with the SMALLRIG 5653 Battery Mount, an essential power solution engineered specifically for the Magic FIZ wireless follow focus system. Designed for videographers, camera assistants, and solo creators who demand reliability and endurance, this mount transforms your handgrip into a long-lasting power hub. Say goodbye to frequent battery changes and interruptions on set. By leveraging the power of high-capacity NP-F batteries, this mount ensures your focus control system remains operational for extended periods, from the first take to the last. This is the ultimate upgrade for professionals seeking to maximize efficiency and maintain creative momentum during demanding shoots.

The core benefit of the SMALLRIG 5653 lies in its ability to dramatically extend your handgrip´s operating time. When combined with a widely available Sony NP-F battery, you can power through all-day shoots without the anxiety of a dead battery. Furthermore, it introduces a crucial hot-swapping capability. By keeping the handgrip´s original LP-E6 battery installed, the 5653 mount allows you to swap out the external NP-F battery at any time without powering down the system. This seamless transition is critical for live events, long-form interviews, and complex cinematic sequences where shutting down is not an option. Beyond just powering the handgrip, this mount also serves as a centralized power distribution point for your rig. Its integrated USB-C port provides a stable power output to charge or operate other essential accessories like on-camera monitors, wireless video transmitters, or even your smartphone, simplifying your camera setup and reducing cable clutter.
