SMALLRIG 5685 Ricoh GR Series Strap Camera Mount

Enhance the handling and versatility of your compact powerhouse with the SMALLRIG 5685 Ricoh GR Series Strap Camera Mount. Designed specifically for the discerning street and travel photographer, this essential accessory unlocks new levels of security, comfort, and creative flexibility for your Ricoh GR III or GR IIIx camera. It seamlessly integrates with your camer´s minimalist aesthetic while providing a robust solution for both carrying and mounting, ensuring you never miss a moment.

The primary benefit of this mount is its ability to transform how you carry your camera. By providing a secure and dedicated attachment point, it allows for the use of various camera Straps, including shoulder and neck straps. This is a game-changing feature for the Ricoh GR series, enabling you to keep your camera instantly accessible yet securely slung, freeing your hands when navigating busy environments. The design moves the carrying stress from a simple wrist loop to a more comfortable and stable shoulder or neck position, perfect for long days of shooting.

Beyond its carrying capabilities, this mount is a dual-purpose tool ingeniously engineered for the modern hybrid shooter. It features a built-in Arca-type quick-release plate along its base. This integration allows you to effortlessly mount your camera onto any Arca-Swiss compatible tripod head, monopod, or gimbal in seconds. The need to attach and detach a separate tripod plate is completely eliminated, streamlining your workflow and allowing for a rapid transition from handheld shooting to stable, long-exposure, or video work. This seamless switch is invaluable when capturing dynamic scenes that require both agility and stability.

Precision-engineered from a high-quality, lightweight aluminum alloy, the mount adds minimal bulk and weight, preserving the pocketable nature and core philosophy of the Ricoh GR camera. Its form-fitting design ensures a perfect, wobble-free connection to the camera body via the 1/4"-20 screw. Furthermore, the mount is intelligently designed with soft, protective silicone pads on the contact surface to prevent any scratches or scuffs to your camer´s base. The thoughtful cutout design guarantees that you retain full, unobstructed access to the battery and memory card door, so you can swap power and media without ever needing to remove the accessory.
