Elevate your filmmaking with the SMALLRIG Rotating Side Handle, a masterfully engineered accessory designed to give you unparalleled control and comfort while shooting with your Sony mirrorless camera. This ergonomic handle is the ultimate upgrade for any videographer, content creator, or filmmaker looking to enhance stability, streamline their workflow, and unlock more creative shooting angles.

Experience a dramatic improvement in your handheld footage. The handle´s core benefit lies in its exceptional ergonomic design, featuring a non-slip, anti-freeze silicone grip that ensures a secure and comfortable hold, even during long shooting days. This stability significantly reduces camera shake, resulting in smoother, more professional-looking video. The innovative one-press rotation mechanism is a game-changer; with a single button, the handle can be rotated 360 degrees without any tools. This allows for effortless switching between different shooting angles, from high-angle shots to underslung low-angle perspectives, and enables compact storage in your camera bag.

At the heart of this handle is the integrated start/stop record button. Positioned perfectly for your fingertip, this trigger allows you to initiate and end recording without ever needing to touch your camer´s screen or body. This seamless control means you´ll never miss a critical moment fumbling for the record button again. The handle is fully ambidextrous and can be easily configured for either left- or right-handed use by adjusting the connector. Furthermore, its height is adjustable to perfectly match the size of your hand and camera cage, ensuring a customized and comfortable fit for every user.

Mounts

Built for the modern modular camera rig, this side handle offers robust mounting options. It securely attaches to any standard camera cage or rig via two 1/4"-20 screws, providing a solid, twist-free connection. For expanding your setup, the top of the handle features a cold shoe mount, ideal for attaching a microphone, a small LED light, or a monitor. An additional 1/4"-20 threaded hole is also included for mounting other accessories like a magic arm.
