Startech 12´´ LP4 to 2x latching SATA Y Cab

StarTech 12in LP4 to 2x Latching Sata Power Y Cable - PYO2LP4LSATA

Effortlessly expand your PC´s storage capacity and overcome power supply limitations with the StarTech 12-inch LP4 to Dual Latching Sata Power Y Cable. This essential internal PC component is the perfect solution for system builders, IT professionals, and PC enthusiasts looking to add more SATA drives, such as hard drives (HDD) or solid-state drives (SSD), to a computer with a limited number of native SATA power connections. It intelligently converts a single, standard LP4 Molex power connector into two secure, latching SATA power connectors, allowing you to power two drives from one source.

The PYO2LP4LSATA LP4 Molex to Dual Latching SATA power splitter cable features two Serial ATA female power connectors and one LP4 male connector - a reliable solution that enables you to power two SATA drives using a single LP4 connection to the computer power supply.

This durable LP4 to SATA Y cable adapter is 12 inches in length, giving you enough cable slack to position drives as needed within the computer case, while saving the cost and hassle of upgrading a power supply for compatibility with Serial ATA drives.

Key Benefits:

* Cost-Effective Upgrade: Breathe new life into older or basic power supplies that are rich in LP4 connectors but lack sufficient SATA power ports. This cable eliminates the need for a costly power supply unit (PSU) replacement when adding new storage, saving you time and money.
* Secure, Reliable Connections: The integrated latching mechanism on the SATA connectors ensures a solid and secure connection to your drives. This critical feature prevents accidental disconnections caused by case vibrations or cable movements, safeguarding your system against data loss and power interruptions.
* Improved Cable Management & Airflow: The flexible 12-inch (30cm) Y-splitter design provides ample length for neat and tidy cable routing. By powering two drives from a single cable run, you can reduce internal clutter, which in turn helps to improve airflow and lower temperatures within your computer case.
* Universal Compatibility: Designed to a universal standard, this power splitter cable is fully compatible with all 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch Serial ATA hard drives and solid-state drives, offering a versatile solution for any PC build or upgrade project.
