Description summary

Elevate your PC´s connectivity with the StarTech.com 5-Port USB PCIe Card. This expansion card adds four USB Type-C (10Gbps) and one internal USB Type-A (10Gbps) port to your system via a single PCIe x4 slot. Enjoy blazing-fast data transfers up to 10Gbps, perfect for large files and high-resolution media. Power your devices with up to 15W per Type-C port and 7.5W on the Type-A port, with supplemental SATA power. Compatible with Windows, macOS, and Linux, Intel, AMD, and Apple Silicon, and fits x4, x8, and x16 slots. Includes both standard and low-profile brackets for versatile installation

Add four USB Type-C (USB 3.2 Gen 2 10Gbps) ports to a PCIe host computer, plus an internal USB Type-A (10Gbps) port Upgrade or expand a desktop or server´s USB connectivity by adding four external USB Type-C 10Gbps ports and one internal USB Type-A 10Gbps port via a single PCI Express x4 connection.

USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10Gbps) Performance The ASM3142 controller supports USB 3.2 transfer speeds of up to 10Gbps, making it ideal for transferring large files or editing high-resolution photos and videos on external storage devices.

Charge and Sync USB Devices This USB PCIe expansion card can receive supplemental power through SATA power, providing up to 5V 3A (15W) per USB Type-C port and 5V 1.5A (7.5W) on the USB Type-A port when motherboard power is insufficient.

Compatibility The PCI Express USB card drivers auto-install in most major operating systems, including Windows 8 and up, macOS, and Linux.

It works with hardware platforms such as Intel, AMD, and Apple Silicon and fits in PCI Express x4, x8, and x16 slots.

Additionally, the USB expansion card comes with a pre-installed standard profile bracket and includes a low-profile bracket for compatibility with small form factor (SFF) desktops and servers.
