Tether Tools USB 3.0 Zu USB-C Adapter Pigtail 50 cm

Tether Tools TetherPro USB 3.0 to USB-C Pigtail Adapter (50cm)

Elevate your tethered shooting experience with the Tether Tools TetherPro USB 3.0 to USB-C Pigtail Adapter. This essential 50 cm adapter is meticulously engineered for the professional photographer and digital technician who demands reliability, speed, and equipment safety. As camera technology advances to the USB-C standard, this pigtail adapter provides the perfect bridge, allowing you to seamlessly integrate your modern USB-C camera with your existing TetherPro USB 3.0 extension cables and setup. By creating a secure yet flexible connection point, it´s the ultimate solution for protecting your camer´s delicate and often costly-to-repair USB-C port from the stress and strain of constant movement and cable tension during a shoot.

The primary benefit of this pigtail design is the creation of a quick-release point. Instead of connecting your long tethering cable directly to the camera, you connect this short adapter first. Your main cable then connects to the adapter. This setup means any accidental yanks or trips will disconnect the cable from the adapter, not from your camera, safeguarding your valuable gear. This is an indispensable safety measure for busy studios or unpredictable on-location shoots. Furthermore, this adapter ensures your data transfer remains fast and stable, leveraging USB 3.0 speeds for a fluid and efficient workflow without lag or dropped connections.

Main Features

The TetherPro USB 3.0 to USB-C Adapter is an integral part of the professional TetherPro system, designed for a streamlined and secure workflow.

* Quick-Release System: Intended for use with TetherPro USB active extensions and other adapters, creating a safe and quick disconnection point to protect your equipment.
* Universal Compatibility: Fully compatible with all camera models that feature a USB-C port, ensuring broad usability across different brands and systems.
* Optimal Length: The 20-inch (50cm) length provides enough flexibility to position the connection point conveniently without adding unnecessary bulk to your setup.
* High-Visibility Design: The signature Tether Tools high-visibility orange color makes the cable easy to locate and identify on set, preventing it from becoming a tripping hazard.

Adapters

As a crucial component in the Adapters category, this pigtail serves as the essential link between legacy USB-A 3.0 tethering systems and the latest generation of USB-C cameras. It is more than just a simple cable; it is a purpose-built tool that enhances the modularity and safety of your entire tethered shooting ecosystem. By allowing you to retain your investment in high-quality USB 3.0 extension cables while upgrading your camera body, it provides a cost-effective and professional solution for a hybrid gear setup.
