Think Tank Glass Limo backpack

Think Tank Glass Limo Backpack

Effortlessly transport your super telephoto lens and essential gear with the Think Tank Glass Limo, the ultimate backpack designed for wildlife, sports, and aviation photographers who demand mobility, protection, and rapid access. This uniquely slim and lightweight backpack is engineered to solve the specific challenge of carrying long glass, allowing you to navigate through crowds, wilderness, and airports with unparalleled ease.

The Glass Limo’s primary purpose is to provide a secure and comfortable limousine for your most valuable lens. It is specially designed to accommodate a super telephoto lens, such as a 600mm f/4, attached directly to a professional-sized DSLR or mirrorless camera body. This means you can arrive on location and be ready to shoot in seconds, never missing that fleeting, decisive moment. It can also carry a 500mm f/4 with its lens hood in the shooting position, further enhancing your readiness in the field. The narrow profile not only makes it easier to maneuver but also keeps the weight closer to your center of gravity for improved balance and reduced fatigue on long treks.

Beyond its specialized long-lens capacity, the Glass Limo showcases incredible versatility. The fully customizable and removable padded interior divider system allows you to reconfigure the backpack to carry a complete, smaller camera system. Easily arrange the dividers to hold multiple camera bodies, a variety of lenses, flashes, and other essential accessories, making it an adaptable solution for any assignment. This flexibility ensures that your investment serves you well, whether you´re on a dedicated wildlife expedition or covering a multifaceted event.

Comfort is paramount when carrying heavy equipment, and the Glass Limo excels with its ergonomically designed harness system. The contoured, adjustable shoulder straps and a fully adjustable sternum strap work in concert with the supportive waist belt to distribute weight evenly, providing all-day comfort. Multiple grab handles on the top and side offer convenient lifting and handling when loading the bag into a vehicle or an overhead airline compartment.

Designed for the traveling photographer, the Glass Limo meets most international and U.S. domestic carry-on size requirements, allowing you to keep your precious gear with you at all times. For added utility, a robust tripod or monopod mounting system on the front and side of the pack ensures you have your support system securely attached. Internal mesh pockets keep smaller accessories organized and visible, while an expandable front pocket provides space for a light jacket or personal items. For ultimate peace of mind, a seam-sealed rain cover is included to protect your equipment from a sudden downpour.
