Xiaomi Aqara T1 door sensor

Enhance your home security and create powerful automations with the XIAOMI Aqara Door and Window Sensor T1. This compact and highly versatile sensor is an essential component for any modern smart home, offering peace of mind and unparalleled convenience. Designed to integrate seamlessly into your living space, the T1 sensor discreetly monitors the status of any door, window, drawer, or cabinet, providing you with real-time information and control, no matter where you are.

Experience a new level of home security. The Aqara T1 sensor instantly notifies you on your smartphone the moment a door or window is opened unexpectedly. Connect it to an Aqara Hub to create a DIY security system; if an entry is detected while you´re away, it can trigger a loud siren and send you a critical alert, allowing you to take immediate action. Gain the confidence of knowing your home is protected, whether you´re at work, on vacation, or just in another room.

Unlock the full potential of your smart home with intelligent automation. The T1 sensor acts as a trigger for countless scenarios limited only by your imagination. Automate your lighting so that your closet or hallway lights turn on the instant you open the door and switch off when you close it. Improve energy efficiency by setting your smart thermostat or air conditioner to turn off automatically when a window is left open. You can trigger complex scenes, such as a "Welcome Home" mode that activates your lights, plays your favorite music, and adjusts the climate the moment you walk through the front door.

Built on the latest and most robust communication standards, the Aqara T1 leverages the advanced Zigbee 3.0 protocol. This ensures faster response times, improved stability, and greater compatibility with a wide range of smart home devices. It also provides enhanced network security and is more energy-efficient, contributing to the device´s impressive battery life. The sensor also supports Over-the-Air (OTA) updates, meaning it is future-proof and will continue to receive improvements and new features via firmware upgrades through your Aqara hub.

With broad compatibility across major ecosystems, the T1 sensor fits perfectly into your existing setup. It works seamlessly with Apple HomeKit, Amazon Alexa, and Google Home, allowing you to use voice commands and integrate it into routines with devices from other brands. Please note that an Aqara Zigbee 3.0 Hub (such as the Aqara Hub M2, M1S, or Camera Hub G3) is required to enable all smart features and connect the sensor to your network. Its minimalist aesthetic and incredibly small footprint allow for a discreet and easy installation on virtually any surface without drawing attention.
