CRESSI Gara 3000 LD Spearfishing & Freediving Fins

Category: Fins
Subcategory: Fins

Experience unparalleled endurance and efficiency on your underwater excursions with the CRESSI Gara 3000 LD Spearfishing and Freediving Fins. Designed for the dedicated adult spearfisherman and freediver who demands high performance over extended periods, these fins offer a powerful yet less demanding alternative to the legendary Gara 3000. The structure is identical to its greatly-appreciated sibling, but the softer material of the blade is what makes them truly stand out, offering a unique blend of comfort and propulsive power.

The ´LD´ in Gara 3000 LD stands for Long Distance, a name that perfectly encapsulates their primary purpose. Cressi engineered these fins to meet the needs of enthusiasts seeking powerful propulsion without fatigue. The softer blade material requires significantly less muscle effort for each kick, allowing you to conserve energy and extend your time in the water. This makes them the perfect choice for long-duration dives and full-day spearfishing trips, letting you focus on the hunt, not on leg strain. Divers can use them for many hours in a row, making them the ultimate tool for endurance-based activities.

The softer blade also provides a crucial advantage in colder environments. Cold water is notorious for its tendency to stiffen fin materials, reducing their flexibility and efficiency. The Gara 3000 LD’s unique blade construction counteracts this effect, maintaining optimal performance and a responsive feel even when temperatures drop. This ensures a consistent and powerful kick cycle, regardless of your diving conditions. Built upon a celebrated structure, these fins feature an advanced, self-adjusting closed foot pocket. This anatomical design provides an exceptionally comfortable and secure fit, eliminating power loss by ensuring that every ounce of energy from your kick is transferred directly to the durable plastic blade. The result is a smooth, fluid motion that delivers impressive thrust with minimal wasted effort.

Main Features:

* Engineered for Long Distance (LD) diving and spearfishing
* Softer blade material for reduced muscle fatigue and extended use
* Optimized performance in cold water, resisting material stiffening
* High-efficiency propulsion system for maximum thrust with minimal effort
* Anatomical, self-adjusting closed foot pocket for superior comfort and power transfer
* Durable and responsive plastic blade construction
* Ideal for both Freediving and Spear Fishing activities

Length:

* 40/41: 87.5 cm
* 42/43: 88.5 cm
* 44/45: 91 cm
* 46/47: 92.5 cm

I've had this model of fins since they came on the market quite some time ago. I've also used them a lot, practically nonstop, and they're still perfectly fine. I've now bought some for my children, who are now grown.

accustomed to the gara2000HD for more than 20 years (excellent fins), I took the 3000LD mainly for surface finning (between 5 and 8km) with apnea up to 10/15m. More flexible but with the same fit as the 2000HD, I avoided cramps. My Gara 2000HDs are used for scuba diving and spearfishing. The 3000LDs are more for long distance swimming

The foot pocket is too hard. Wearing 265mm shoes, 40-41 were small. Should have bought a big one. Reaction Pro foot pockets of the same brand and size are too soft and comfortable.

Awesome product and fast delivery! I love this cressi gara its one of the best diving plastic fins because I find that it can move faster compared to my other plastic fins like picasso and mares etc... plus its a really good balance of not being too stiff and not being too soft so it's kind of a in a middle which is awesome. So overall I like this website which I'm looking forward to buy more from stuff from this store.

Awesome fins that will last!

I´m into products that are worth the money and will last in the long run. I´ve been using these fins for the past 6-7 seasons with no rips or any issues. My advice is to use fin keepers. Not sure why not many people have used fin keepers but they keep your heel planted in the fin, meaning less energy loss, meaning easier dives hopefully meaning more fish! I wear a men´s 11 with a 5mm dive sock on the Gara size 46-47 which I believe is somewhere around the 12-13 foot size range so with a 5mm sock they fit perfectly. Fin keepers!

Fins overall is good, but problem with a bigger then you can expect foot pocket. I wear EU 42/43 size and i ordered 40/41 size. In lenght, my foot is ok, but the self foot pocket is so wide, that my foot is slipping away easily. Tryed with 3mm socks, nope, not enough place in a front, because too tight. Conclusion: too tight in front and too wide foot pocket. Have to use fin holders, otherwise going to lose them.. had no such problem with other fins.

Hi, I am new to freediving, and am looking for fins that have a blade that can detach so I can upgrade to higher quality carbon fiber blades when I am ready. Do these fins have detachable blades?

Answer of TradeInn Expert

Hello! no sorry, they are a unic piece. Not detachables. Thanks for your question!
