The new LIM TOURING PROOF ski jacket , is designed for performance in the mountains in winter season. Thanks to the combination of fabrics and the arrangement of their layers they protect you from adverse climates.

It is a highly waterproof and resistant garment that provides greater protection and comfort. It has a full front zip, two side pockets and a chest pocket all with zippers.

Its cuffs are adjustable with velcro closure. It is lined internally for greater protection and isolation. It has zippers under the arms for greater ventilation. The stretch laminate bluesign®-approved fabric provides excellent mobility, as well as superior - and fluorocarbon-free - protection from wind and water.

FLOURCARBONFREE.

The durable water repellent action of our PFC-free DWR treatments comes from a hydrocarbon based, silicone based and/or wax based technology instead of fluorinated chemical.

Irrespective of the ‘active ingredient´, all PFC-free DWR treatments used are totally free from all perfluorinated chemicals (PFC) (of course including both perfluorooctanesulfonic acid (PFOS) and perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA)), free from other halogenated substances and free from alkylphenolethoxylates, including nonylphenolethoxylates.

The possible drawbacks are that the oil repellency and the durability of the PFC-free DWR treatments may be slightly lower than for a PFCcontaining option and therefore re-treatment for water repellency may be necessary at an earlier point in time.

In all, we use very good, environmentally friendly alternatives to PFC-containing DWR treatments.
